TheTutor Story
TheTutor Learning Center began in 2019 as a small after-school tutoring program dedicated to helping local students improve grades and build confidence. Parents quickly saw results, and word spread. What started with one-on-one tutoring sessions grew into small group classes, summer enrichment, and test preparation for ACT, SAT, and ASVAB.
As the need for personalized education continued to grow, the vision expanded. In 2024, North Range Academy was founded as a BESE-approved school, offering a structured four-day homeschool academy (Monday–Thursday, 8am–3pm) with a 1:3 student-to-teacher ratio. Today, both the Center and the Academy work hand in hand: one offering individualized tutoring, the other providing a full academic program in a supportive, small-group environment.
Through it all, our mission has stayed the same: to meet each student where they are, and help them move forward with confidence.

Owner/Director/Principal
Meet Jason
Jason has dedicated over 20 years to helping students succeed. With a Bachelor’s degree in Pre-Law and Homeland Security, studies in Music Education, and a Master’s in Education, Jason brings both academic expertise and creative teaching methods to every classroom.
Jason's superpower: Guide students and staff with vision, passion, and years of experience.
Jason's passion has created a space every child deserves with the right environment, the right attention, and the right encouragement to thrive.

Our curriculum is thoughtfully tailored to meet students

personally. Whether we're helping a child develop
foundational skills, assisting an adult learner returning
to education, or preparing someone for higher education
